Poetry slam. In what is perhaps the most athletic way to present literature, the young slam poets compete with text and performance on stage and face the word competition behind the microphone. The slam poets have seven minutes to convince the audience of their performance. Whether it's humorous or political, rapped, rhymed or shouted out is up to the author, the text just has to be their own.
At the end, the audience decides who gets to take home fame, honor and prizes. Jens Kotalla from Münster will host the evening.
