The Tourismusverband Sieben e.V. is committed to ensuring that its websites are accessible to all users. We are therefore dedicated to continuously improving the accessibility of our websites. The legal basis is the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) in conjunction with EU Directive 2019/882 as well as the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).

Compliance status with the requirements

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully compliant with the requirements of BITV 2.0 – Conformance Level AA. We appreciate your understanding and are continuously working to improve all aspects of our websites.

The following content is not accessible

  • Some content (e.g. maps or external widgets) is not yet fully usable with screen readers.
  • Not all images have alternative text yet, and in some cases usability with screen readers is limited. 
    The images originate from a database and therefore partly from partners; in these cases, we are unable to make edits ourselves.
  • Depending on the contrast values of images, text and copyright notices may not always be sufficiently legible.
  • Not all content elements can be operated exclusively using a keyboard.
  • PDF files and documents are not yet accessible. 
    We are working to provide new PDF files and documents, such as our brochures, in an accessible web version.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was created on January 15, 2026. The website is continuously optimized. The accessibility assessment is based on a self-evaluation supported by common testing tools (e.g. WAVE, Lighthouse). Regular checks are carried out and updates are implemented according to the recommendations of the website operator.
